Technical notes

Why it plays like that

What is inside the frame, and what it does to the ball.

01

Round head

The widest part of the face sits in the middle, so the sweet spot is the largest of the three padel shapes and sits where most players actually hit.

02

Carbon and fiberglass face

Woven carbon blended with fiberglass. The fiberglass adds flex, so the ball leaves the face with less effort - the trade is a slightly less crisp feel than full carbon.

03

Soft EVA memory core

The softest EVA grade. It compresses further on impact, which cushions a mishit instead of sending the shock up your arm.

04

Matte 3D dot surface

A fine matte grain with raised dots across the face. It grips the ball for spin and kills the glare from indoor lights.

05

100% carbon frame

The rim and throat are full carbon, so the frame resists twisting when you catch the ball off center and keeps its shape over a season.

06

Triangle throat

A triangular opening where the head meets the handle. It stiffens the frame, moves power into the ball and takes some vibration out of the grip.

Details

The INSUM Fast is a round racket that does not feel like a beginner's one. At 367 grams it is heavier than the light round frames most people start on, and the balance sits at 272 mm - enough weight in the head to push the ball deep without a big swing.

Everything else is built for comfort. The EVA core is the soft grade, the face blends carbon with fiberglass so the ball leaves it easily, and the round head keeps the sweet spot big and centered. A matte micro-texture with raised 3D dots grips the ball for spin and takes the glare off the face under indoor lights. The frame is 100% carbon with a triangle throat, so it holds its shape when you catch one off center.

What it is not is a smash racket. Round and soft is a control recipe - you will win points by placing the ball, not by ending them from the back of the court. If you want the same build with more bite overhead, the INSUM Power is its diamond-shaped sibling.

This is Stealth - black with gray. The same racket comes in Flamingo, pink with mint, and Lagoon, blue with lime. Same face, same core, same 367 grams - pick whichever you would rather be seen with.

Keep the racket out of a hot car and out of direct sun. Change the overgrip when it stops feeling tacky, and check the protector before it wears through to the frame.
