Teardrop rackets

The shape most players should own. Balance sits between the round and the diamond, which means you get a usable amount of power without giving up the sweet spot entirely.

A teardrop will not out-hit a diamond on the smash or out-control a round on the volley, but it is the only shape that does both jobs well enough to never feel like the wrong racket in a match.

Buy a teardrop if you play the whole court and do not want to think about your equipment. It is the safest choice in the range.
