Fill the base
Unscrew the plug and fill it with water or sand. The weight is what holds it down when the cord pulls.

Set it down
Any flat patch works - a driveway, a lawn, an empty parking lot. Put it a step in front of you with the cord pointing away.

Hit slightly upward
Start gently and lift the ball a little. Drive it flat and hard, and the cord drags it straight into the ground.

It comes back
The elastic brings the ball back toward you, low and fast, so the next swing is ready without chasing anything.

Empty it for the ride home
Drain the base, carry it by the handle, and it goes back in the trunk.

Details

Fill the base with water or sand, set it down and hit. The ball is on a 13-foot elastic cord, so every shot comes back to you - no partner, no court booking, no walking to pick up balls.

It was built for tennis, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. With a padel racket it is a groundstroke tool: forehand, backhand, grip changes and the repetitions that make a stroke automatic. The cord pulls the ball back low and fast, so it does not help with volleys, the bandeja or anything off the glass. For half an hour in the backyard between court sessions, it does exactly what it says.

The base is 8.2 inches square with a carry handle, and it empties out for the trip home.
